Mobile Phones

It is easy to buy a mobile, but it is so far very expensive in Russia.

Television

Internet

One of the most convenient and cost effective ways to keep in touch with home is via the Internet. Appliances

If you come from a country which doesn’t use 220 Watts or the two circles prong plugins, you will have to use a converter (it might be big if the appliance is large itself) or an adapter.

For TV and VCRs, it is better to invest in Russia because there, it is a multi-system appliance.

Stereo and CD players also use the 110 Watts and won’t work properly on the 220 Watts cycle.
