In China, you have different school systems for foreign childrens. It is possible to find a school of your nationality. A lot of expatriates people register their children in Bilingual schools. It is very common for a children to learn chinese and in most of the schools learning chinese language is obligatory.
They represent a specific nationality such as French, American, German, Swedish and Japonese and aim to prepare the students for the higher education programmes of the home country. They are recognised by their governments. They are considered as private schools.
They are private schools and follow the Inernational Schools Project (ISCP) and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Project (IBMYP). The language of instruction is English, with special help for those with imperfect English or mild learning difficulties. In addition, emphasis is placed on field trips to familiarize the students with Chinese culture, history, geography, etc.
Also private and very demanded in China. Bilingual school are either based on the American curriculum or the British National curriculum. You can also register your childrens at the Montessori School, where the curriculum is based on the Montessori method.
